How do you turn a flip flop into a rhino?

I am piggy backing from the last post about reinventing damaged or discarded items.  As summer really starts to peek at us, I know we all are craving the beach.  Beautiful water, warm sand the horizon just looking back at you.  I stumbled across this company out of Nairobi that is doing it's part to keep our waterways beautiful and clean.  Ocean Sole is recycling abandoned flip flops from the Indian Ocean into these really cool toys/housewares/sculptures.

At first, I thought that might be weird, somebodys old gross flops.  But when I saw the result and learned about their process, it completely won me over.  Not only is this company doing their part to help keep our oceans beautiful but they are employing people and giving them tools that will provide for their families future.
