New Usher Video "Lemme See" Location Booked by CREWS
Usher pairs up with Rick Ross on the sexy track but does the video do it justice
Usher released his seventh studio album, Looking 4 Myself,
earlier this month (June 8, 2012) and has now put out the video for the
latest single “Lemme See.” The track features a collaboration with Rick
Ross and largely falsetto vocals by Usher. The actual feel and vibe of
the song is pretty average. It’s not something that really stands out.
It’s not something that’s going to inspire an entire club or party to
get up and groove. It’s not bad or anything – it’s just a decent summer
song.
The video is equally average. It had potential (if you can forgive Usher for all of that lip biting while he sings) but it just sort of falls short. For a song called “Lemme See” there sure is a lot of shots of just Usher standing in the dark, lurking by the pool, chilling in his crib…
There are a few moments where there is actually a woman with him and when suddenly there are flashes of tattoos and ropes you think “yes! This is about to get interesting!” and then it just doesn’t. Again, there are worse videos out there but this really could have been better. There’s almost no chemistry between Usher and his leading lady and the action just isn’t believable. For a song with this subject matter, this video should have been wayyy hotter (even with Rick Ross in it!).
